Cohort Description: Become a Bespoke Soccer Athlete at Bespoke Soccer SD
Exclusive Athletic Development for soccer athletes looking to improve overall speed on the field. Speed, change of direction, and agility are fundamental qualities for soccer players. In an average match, each player has the ball about 3% of the time and supports their team off the ball 97% of the time.Soccer involves a range of energy systems that drive physical performance. Technique without the ball affects the capability of a team to maintain or regain possession of the ball. Having the ability to quickly decelerate, transition, and reaccelerate is critical in the modern game.Days of performing ladder drills to improve speed and agility are long gone. Training sessions are under the supervision of experts in sports performance, and backed by practical experience and evidence based methodologies
Session Outline:
Performance testing using VALD Performance, the world’s most elite sport science testing.
Objective testing using the same protocols done by all of the top European soccer clubs.
Players will work to improve sport specific demands:
Speed, change of direction ability, explosive power, agility, movement literacy, and strength.
Each class will be 45 minutes led by Dr. Renato Sanchez, PT, DPT, CSCS & Dr. Brad Whitley, PT, DPT, XPS

Please bring comfortable exercise clothes and running sneakers or turf boots (no studs). Towels, water fountains, changing and storage areas will be provided.
